This Giant Hyssop has upright flower spikes covered with long-lasting, deep-blue flowers. A compact plant, which flowers just 15 weeks after sowing, and all summer long. Sowing & growing

Sow indoors Feb-Apr. Sow seeds just below the soil surface. Do not cover seeds as light is needed for germination. Propagate at 18-20°C. Germination can take up to 90 days. Once germinated, ensure there is good air circulation to prevent damping off. Water from beneath. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into pots and acclimatise prior to planting out 50cm apart.

Aftercare

Cut flowers regularly and remove any fading flowers to prolong the flowering season. Mulch in areas with harsh winters.
