Sowing & growing
Sow indoors Feb-May, or Sep-Oct. Surface sow onto seed compost and cover with a thin layer of vermiculite. Keep in light conditions at 15-21°C. Germination can erratic, seeds may need a period of cold stratification before being returned to warmth to germinate. Transplant seedlings into pots and acclimatise before planting out into final position.
Aftercare
Keep well-watered until established. Regularly deadhead flowers, especially if you do not wish for the plants to self-seed.
