Flowering

Sowing & growing

Sow outdoors in raked fine soil where they are to flower from Sep-Feb or May-Jun and finely cover. Thin seedlings to 40-50cm. Plants will add foliage in their first year and flower in their second year. Seeds need winter cold to break their dormancy and germinate.

Aftercare

After flowering will die-back, leave the architectural seed heads if you want to encourage them to self seed.
