Flowering
Sowing & growing
Sow inside Feb-Jun or Sep-Oct in good seed compost. Do not cover as the seeds need light to germinate. Water from the bottom and keep between 18-22°C for germination, which should take 2-3 weeks. Pot on when the true leaves appear and acclimatise before planting out. Alternatively sow outside in a well-prepared seed bed from Apr-Jun.
Aftercare
Divide plants every 3 years to rejuvenate. Cut back flowers damaged by rain and wait for a second flush.
