A neat and compact Brachyscome with daisy-like blooms over a long flowering period. This annual bedding plant is an essential ingredient for summer container displays. Ferny deep green foliage is cloaked in a mat of rich blue flowers.

Sowing & growing

Sow indoors Jan-March, or sow directly Apr-May. Under cover, surface sow onto moist, seed compost. Cover seed with a light sprinkling of soil, as light is needed for germination. Keep at 18-21°C. When seedlings are large enough, transplant to pots and grow on. Plant out when risk of frost has passed. If sowing in-situ, sow seeds 6mm deep in drills of fine soil and thin out weaker seedlings.

Aftercare

Deadhead to encourage more flowers. Pull up plants and compost at the end of the season.
