Swan River Daisy

An attractive lilac-coloured Brachycome with daisy-like blooms over a long flowering period. This annual bedding plant is an essential ingredient for summer container displays. Ferny deep green foliage is cloaked in a mat of rich blue flowers. Ideal for edging paths or borders.

Sowing & growing

Sow under glass Feb-Apr on to surface of moist, seed compost. Cover seed with a light sprinkling of soil. Do not exclude light as needed for germination. Keep at 18-21°C. When seedlings are large enough, transplant to pots and grow on. Plant out once risk of frost has passed. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushy growth.

Aftercare

Deadhead to encourage more flowers. Dig up plants and compost at the end of the season.
