Sowing & growing
Sow seeds in free draining gritty compost, cover lightly with grit and place into a cold frame to overwinter. 8-12 weeks of cold required before warm temperatures to trigger germination. Seeds can be sown and placed into a fridge at 4°C for 12 weeks and then moved to 20°C for germination. Germination can be very slow and take up to 6 weeks once seeds are in a warm environment.
Aftercare
Cut down to ground level once foliage has died back in autumn.
