Flowering

Sowing & growing

Sow where it is to flower April to May by sowing in drills sparingly 10mm deep in well-prepared seedbed. Can also be started off under cover in trays or pots and transplanted when large enough to handle. Can be sown in Aug-Oct and kept under protection over the winter for an earlier flowering display the following year.

Aftercare

Cut flowers every few days and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. If seedheads are left it will self-seed.
