Calendula 'Sherbet Fizz'
Marigold
A Pot marigold with subtle colouring and deep red tips to the edible petals. The slightly peppery taste makes them a good addition to salads and pasta dishes. They are very useful for edging paths or borders and have great impact in mass plantings.

Flowering
Sowing & growing
Sow where they are to grow outside in April to May. Sow in drills 10mm deep in a well-prepared seed bed. You can also sow under cover in seed composts, and transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle. Seeds can be sown Aug-Oct and protected under glass over the winter for an earlier display the following year.
Aftercare
Pick flowers every few days and deadhead flowers regularly to prolong the flowering season.
