Sowing & growing

In the UK climate, chillies need to be started early. Sow in modules under cover Feb-Mar. Cover seeds with a very fine cover of seedling compost or vermiculite. Plant out after frosts have passed, or transplant into bigger pots or grow bags to keep in the greenhouse.

Aftercare

Protect with some fleece or a cloche after planting to help them acclimatise to being outdoors.
