This colourful mixture with white, yellow, orange, red & purple roots are quick-growing and with a good sweet flavour. Around 90 days from sowing to harvest. Best picked younger and cooked without peeling to preserve the interesting colours.

Sowing & growing
Sow thinly in rows from March-May. 30-45cm between rows. The seed bed should be well-prepared and free of weeds. Can also be grown in pots and under glass for an extended season. Carrots dislike freshly manured soil. Water well until germinated.
Aftercare
Once germinated, thin out seedlings to 8cm between plants. The evening is best to do this to avoid attracting carrot fly.
