Sowing & growing

Can be sown undercover or outside in situ. Surface sow inside Feb-April in trays or pots of moist seed compost. Keep at 16-18°C until germination occurs. Grow on transplanted seedlings in cooler conditions and plant out when risk of hard frost has passed. Wait until April-May to sow outside, 6mm deep in fine soil.

Aftercare

Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Cut flowers or deadhead regularly to prolong flowering season. Do not grow in the same post two years in a row to avoid Fusarium Wilt
