Sowing & growing

Sow indoors on the surface of a moist but free-draining seed compost. Do not cover as the seeds need light for germination. Keep at 18°C. Once large enough to handle transplant into individual 9cm pots and grow on in an unheated greenhouse or cold frame. Plant out with 30cm spacing after frosts have passed.

Aftercare

Taller stems may require staking. Feed monthly through growing/flowering season. Do not cut back after flowering if you would like them to self seed.
