Sowing & growing

Mar-May, sow in-situ outdoors in drills just 3-4mm deep. Alternatively, sow in pots or seed trays on the surface of moist seed compost and cover very finely with compost or vermiculite. Transplant or thin to 15cm between plants. Can be sown under cover Feb-Apr or Aug-Sep and kept inside for stronger plants the following spring.

Aftercare

Avoid feeding as this will increase foliage and reduce flowers. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
