A very popular variety with a crisp, fresh texture and flavour. Easy to grow, both inside and out with a prodigious crop of ridged dark green cucumbers up to 25cm long. It will need support when growing as it can reach up to 3m in height.

Growing calendar
Sowing & growing
Sow indoors Mar-May or outdoors from Apr-Jun. Sow 3 seeds vertically, 1cm deep, per 8cm pot of moist, seed compost. Keep at 20°C for germination. Thin out to strongest seedling per pot and grow on at cooler temperatures of about 15°C, keeping young plants protected from direct sunlight. Acclimatise before planting outside when risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare
Cucumbers benefit from thorough watering. Start feeding once first two fruits have started growing. Harvest cucumbers when they are young and tender.
