Calendula 'Pacific Beauty Mix'
Pot Marigold
Pot marigolds are hardy and vibrant annuals, attracting beneficial insects. The edible petals have long been used in salads and to flavour soups and stews. They look right at home at the edge of a border, or weaved through a vegetable garden as a companion plant.

Flowering
Sowing & growing
Sow in-situ April to May. Sow seeds sparingly, 10mm deep in well-prepared fine soil. Alternatively sow undercover in trays or pot of seed composts, and transplant when large enough to handle. Seeds can be sown in Aug-Oct and kept under glass over the winter for an earlier flowering display the following year.
Aftercare
Cut flowers or deadhead regularly to encourage growth and to prolong flowering. Will gently self-seed.
