Sowing & growing

Best sown indoors Feb-Mar. Surface sow in moist seed compost and cover with a fine layer of soil. Do not exclude light. Keep at 18-23°C until germination occurs. Best grown in modular trays as they do not like root disturbance. Pot on into individual pots and grow on at cooler temperatures. Harden off before planting out when frosts have passed.

Aftercare

Plant out 30cm apart and keep moist as Celosia prefer high humidity.
