Sowing & growing
Sow inside from Feb-Apr. Sow early for longer harvests. Sow in pots filled with free-draining compost. Cover with vermiculite and keep at around 21°C. Uncover once seedlings appear and prick out into individual 12-15cm pots once 2-3cm high. Plant into their final position 30cm apart in the greenhouse/tunnel; alternatively acclimatise and plant outside once frosts have passed.
Aftercare
Stake plants as they get taller. Feed with high potassium fertiliser weekly after flowering starts to encourage a bumper crop.
