Flowering

Sowing & growing

Sow undercover April-May, 1cm deep in seed soil. From May-June, seeds can be sown where they are to flower in a moist well prepared seed bed. Plant out/thin out seedlings to 30cm apart. If grown under cover, harden off young plants and plant out when risk of frost has passed. Flowers appear the following Spring.

Aftercare

Deadhead regularly and feed with a balanced fertiliser every couple of months to increase flowering.
