Sowing & growing

Sow inside Mar-May in trays or good quality seed compost, cover with a fine layer of compost. Germination usually takes 2-3 weeks at 20°C, when large enough to handle plant up into pots. Alternatively, sow outdoors where they are to flower Apr-May in rills 30cm apart, thin seedlings to 20cm apart.

Aftercare

To ensure a long flowering period deadhead on a regular basis.
