A classic Coneflower with bright pink blooms, excellent cutting flowers with a good vase life. Ideal for pollinators and birds. Deadheading will encourage repeat flowering. Sowing & growing

Sow under cover Feb-Jun and Aug-Oct. Sow seeds 3-4mm deep in trays of good quality seed compost. Requires 20-25°C to germinate; a warm windowsill or propagator are ideal. Prick out into individual pots when large enough to handle. Grow on and harden off before planting in final growing position, spacing 30cm apart.

Aftercare

Apply a mulch in winter and deadhead to prolong flowering.
