Growing guide
Eschscholzia 'Single White'
California Poppy
A refreshing alternative to the common bright orange California Poppy. Producing plenty of creamy-white single flowers above delicate ferny green foliage. An excellent choice for gardens with well-drained soils as they thrive in these conditions, very drought tolerant.

Sowing & growing
Sow outside from Mar-May or Aug-Sep directly where you would like them to grow. Spread seed thinly into a very shallow pre-watered drill. Cover with a very fine covering of soil and firm down. Keep the seed bed moist until the seedlings emerge. Once germinated thin out to roughly 30cm apart.
Aftercare
Allow to self-seed for following year. Surplus seedlings are easy to recognise and easy to pull up.
