Sowing & growing

Sow indoors Apr-May in root trainers or pots 25mm deep. Germinates within 1-2 weeks at 15-20 C. Harden off the plants before planting outside once all risk of frost has passed. Alternatively sow directly outside from mid to late May.

Aftercare

Shelter from strong winds or support with sticks or netting. Water deeply a few times a week rather than a little daily. Pick every few days to encourage further pods being produced.
