Sowing & growing

Sow under cover February-April by lightly pressing the seeds into the surface of seed compost and cover with vermiculite. Keep at around 20°C to aid germination. Ensure compost is moist but not soggy. Prick out seedlings into individual pots once large enough, and then transplant to the garden 40cm apart once risk of frost has passed.

Aftercare

Cut back spent flower stems after flowering and usually you will be rewarded with a second flush of flowers.
