Sowing & growing

Sow inside Feb-April in moist seed compost. Lightly cover seed with fine layer of compost and keep at 20-20°C until germination occurs. When large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots. Acclimatise before planting out 25cm apart, when risk of frost has passed. Alternatively, sow outside May-July in prepared seedbed. These plants will flower the following year.

Aftercare

Regularly cut and deadhead faded flowers to extend flowering period.
