Sowing & growing

Sow indoors Feb-Apr in moist seed compost. Cover seed with fine layer of compost and propagate at 15-20 °C. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings to individual pots, holding by a leaf and not the stem. Grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise prior to planting out 25 cm apart, when risk of frost has passed.

Aftercare

Pinch out the growing tip and continue to deadhead to prolong flowering.
