Ipomoea 'Party Dress'
Morning Glory
This is an excellent vigorous climber also know as Morning Glory. The plants quickly scramble up supports, developing green, heart-shaped leaves. Summer-autumn, the foliage is smothered in large, magenta-pink tubular flowers with white star centres. Packs a colourful punch.

Growing calendar
Sowing & growing
Before sowing, soak the seeds for 48 hours. Seeds can be sown directly where you want them to flower in May-Jun. Sow very sparingly and once germinated thin plants to 30cm apart. To start early, sow in Mar-Apr under cover and keep warm with a sunny windowsill or propagator. Prick out to individual pots and grow on until frosts have passed. Transplant to final position.
Aftercare
These vigorous climbers can cover a large area in one season, so provide plenty of support.
