Sowing & growing
Sow from April-August outdoors where they are to grow. Sow finely 12mm deep in rows of prepared soil. Keep thinning out seedlings to final space of 15cm between plants. Sow under cover Feb-March. Plants grown under cover can be transplanted out as soon they have 4-6 leaves. Sow little and often for multiple staggered harvests.
Aftercare
May need protection from birds. Water well in dry spells to stop the flesh becoming woody. Globes do not store well, so harvest when required.
