Sowing & growing

January-April, sow under cover onto the surface of moist seed compost in trays or modules, and do not cover with compost. Seal the tray in a polythene bag. Seeds require light and the warmth of a windowsill or propagator 18-24°C to germinate. If sown in a tray, transplant to individual pots once seedlings are large enough to handle. Plant out to final position once the risk of frost has passed. Plant seedlings 10-15cm apart.

Aftercare

Feed and water frequently to promote growth and a long flowering season.
