Vegetables
Lambs Lettuce 'Vision'
Valerianella locusta
A good source of iron and vitamin C, with a nutty, tangy flavour. A fairly cold tolerant vegetable, it has the potential to be harvested for most of the year if sown little and often, especially when offered extra protection during the colder months.

Harvest
Sowing & growing
April-Aug, sow finely where they are to crop, 1.5cm deep in drills of pre-watered soil, or in 25cm pots. Suitable for succession sowing every 2-3 weeks for continual supply. Plants will regrow from up to 4 harvests. Alternatively, Sep-January sow under glass in for winter supply.
Aftercare
Regular harvesting of leaves will encourage more to grow. Harvest leaves before flowers appear. Keep soil moist.
