Sowing & growing
Sow under glass Feb-April. Surface sow onto good seed compost and cover with just a thin layer of vermiculite or sprinkling of soil. Keep at 18-24°C for germination. Transplant seedlings and grow on in pots at cooler temperatures until frosts have finished. Acclimatise to outdoor temperatures before planting out in the garden.
Aftercare
A low maintenance plant that just requires deadheading or regular flower cutting to extend the flowering time.
