Alpine forget-me-not with indigo blue flowers on short branching stems. An ideal filler plant that will come back and provide a splash of colour year-after-year if allowed to self seed. Can be used as a summer ground cover too.

Sowing & growing

Sow outdoors in final flowering position from May-Jul in shallow drills 30cm apart. Cover seeds very lightly by just scratching into the surface. Keep moist and thin to 10-15cm apart by removing weakest seedlings. Will freely self-seed. To use as a summer ground cover, scatter freely in the border for cover of foliage and flowers in second year.

Aftercare

Cut back once flowers fade and shake stems to encourage self-seeding.
