Flowering

Sowing & growing

Sow indoors in moist seed compost from March-April. Only cover seeds with a dusting of compost as germination requires light. Propagate at 18-22 C. Pot up the plants when large enough to handle, and grow on in cool conditions until the risk of frost has passed. Acclimatise and plant out spacing them 30 cm apart.

Aftercare

Cut flowers and deadhead regularly to prolong the flowering period.
