Sow indoors March-April. Cover seeds with a light layer of compost as germination requires light. Propagate at 18-22 C. Pot up the seedlings when large enough to handle. Acclimatise before planting out 40 cm apart, when risk of frost has passed. Can be sown directly May-July. Surface sow and lightly water.

Aftercare

Keep cutting and deadheading to prolong flowering window. Water well during droughts.
