Sowing & growing

Sow under glass Mar-May 2cm deep in good quality seed compost. Transplant into individual pots when large enough to handle. Acclimatise before planting out 20-30cm apart. Alternatively sow directly where they are to flower from May-Jul, 2cm deep and spaced 20cm apart.

Aftercare

Water deeply once a week rather than daily. Deadhead regularly to extend the flowering season.
