Sowing & growing

Sow directly where it is to grow as they dislike root disturbance. March-May, sow in drills 6mm deep in a well-prepared seedbed free of weeds. Thin to 15 cm apart. Can also be direct -sown Aug-Oct for earlier show of flowers the following year. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushy growth.
