Sowing & growing
Best sown where they are to grow from May-Aug in short, shallow drills 5 mm deep, 15 cm between the rows. Thin the seedlings to 20 cm apart. Prefers well-drained soil in full sun. Can be sown under cover Feb-April, or Sep-Nov and overwintered for flowers the following year. Sow onto moist seed compost and cover lightly with vermiculite. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed.
Aftercare
Will self-seed and reappear each year if not dead headed and seed pods removed.
