Harvest
Sowing & growing
Sow seeds where they are to crop March-July. Sow finely, 1.2cm deep in drills 35-40cm apart. As seedlings appear, thin to 10cm between plants for baby-leaf plants, or 20-30cm between plants for larger plants. Can be sown under glass and seedlings transplanted if necessary.
Aftercare
Keep soil well-watered, especially in hot weather, to retain flavour and discourage bolting.
