Sowing & growing
Can be sown directly outside Apr-Jun. Alternatively sow under cover in Feb-Apr, in moist well-drained seed compost. Cover seeds with a thin layer of seed compost, and germinate at 18-20°C. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle and plant out after hardening off and risk of risk has passed.
Aftercare
Likes a moist and fertile soil, so remember to water at base and feed regularly. Pinch out early to encourage bushy growth.
