Harvest
Sowing & growing
Sow under cover during Feb-Mar in modules, pots or guttering, 4-5cm deep. Harden off before transplanting outside. Direct sow Oct-Nov or Jan-Mar 50mm deep into drills in a well-prepared seedbed, 50-60cm between rows and with seeds spaced 5cm apart. Sow two seeds per sowing and thin out the weaker seedling after germination.
Aftercare
Keep well watered if there's insufficient rain and seedlings should appear in 2-3 weeks.
