Sowing & growing
Sow under glass Feb-July in moist seed compost. Cover with a thin cover of compost or vermiculite, as light is required for germination. Germinates at temperatures of +20°C. If no germination occurs after 4 weeks, move to temperatures -4°C-+4°C for 4 weeks to stratify, and then bring it back in the warmth. When large enough to handle, transplant and acclimatise, before planting out in sunny or semi shade position when all risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare
Deadhead to avoid self-seeding. Apply mulch to prevent the soil from drying out.
