Sowing & growing

Sow direct Mar-May or Aug-Sep when ground conditions are favourable, preferably with some rain forecast. Can be used in meadow areas. Makes a great cover crop on unused beds usually used for growing crops, helps to suppress weeds and fix nitrogen into the soil. For cover crops rake into the surface ~5mm deep.

Aftercare

Cover crop can be cut 2-3 times during the growing season to control growth and add green material back into soil.
