Old-fashioned, dainty-flowered climbing annual. Prefers to grow in full sun, but copes well with heat, so a good option for pots on the patio where you can truly enjoy their heady scent. Make sure to give it plenty of support. To prolong the growing season, deadhead and regularly cut flowers for the vase.

Sow October to December and overwinter in cool but light place or sow in early Spring. Protect until risk of frost has passed. Pinch out the main shoot once the second set of true leaves have unfolded to encourage bushy growth.
Aftercare
Sow in both winter and spring for flowers all summer and into autumn. Feed with a high-potash fertiliser when established.
