White flower which are loved by bees, butterflies and other pollinators. These are replaced by spherical translucent papery seed heads in late Summer. The geometric globe has amazing looking little thin stars in each bract. They dry well and a little hairspray will help make them a little less fragile.

Sowing & growing
Sow indoors in good well draining seed compost in February to May. Keep at 15 -20 C and keep moist during germination. Once large enough to handle pot up into individual pots and grow on until all risk of frost has passed, Acclimatise before planting out 30 cm apart.
Aftercare
Water well twice a week during dry spells.
