Sowing & growing
Sow under glass Oct-Apr. Soak seeds in water for 24 hours prior to sowing to aid germination. Sow in deep trays, pots or root trainers, 1cm deep, and propagate at 20-25°C. Grow seedlings on in cooler temperatures and acclimatise before planting out when frosts have passed. Sow outdoors Apr-May, 2.5cm deep, 8cm apart. Pinch out the tips once the 2nd set of leaves appear to encourage side shoots.
Aftercare
Keep cut flowers out of direct sunlight for longer vase life.
