Sowing & growing

Sow under cover Mar-May, or May-Jun in-situ. Sow seeds on their sides, 12mm deep in individual pots. Keep at a minimum temperature of 20°C. Pot on once germination has occurred and acclimatise seedlings before planting out once risk of frost has passed.

Aftercare

Plants will need protection from slugs and snails. Water at the base rather than on leaves. Cut fruit from vine with a 5cm of stalk left on. Cure fruit in sun for 5 days before using.
