Sweet Pepper 'Californian Wonder'
Sweet Pepper · Capsicum annum
Great crop for the greenhouse or a protected spot outside. Sweet flavoured large peppers which are delicious both raw in salads but also in stir fry, grilled or stuffed. Young fruit is green and will mature to red. Cut or snip stem when harvesting to avoid damage to the plant.

Sowing & growing
Sow indoors Feb-Apr in pots with a light cover of compost. Germination within 10-14 days at 15-20 C. Grow on in the greenhouse for a larger fruit, alternatively harden off the plants before planting outside, once risk of frost has passed. Protection against the cold with fleece advisable outside until June.
Aftercare
Feed regularly once the flowers have set and water deeply during dry spells.
