Tomato 'Tumbling Tom'

For those who want a no-fuss, easy tomato, this variety is ideal. No training up support canes is necessary. Simply plant into a hanging basket or pot, water and feed, to harvest bowlfuls of red cherry tomatoes with a sweet flavour. Very ornamental cascading over the side of containers.

Growing calendar
Sowing & growing
Sow under glass Feb-April in moist seed compost, covering the seeds with a fine layer of compost. Place on warm windowsill or in propagator at 18-21°C for germination. When large enough to handle, prick out into individual pots. Grow on in greenhouse or outside once risk of frost has passed. Do not remove side shoots.
Aftercare
Regularly water and feed with high potash liquid feed regularly once the first truss has set. Harvest fruits are they ripen.
