Harvest

Sowing & growing

Best sown in containers inside between Mar–Jul or direct sow in-situ May-Jul, at temperatures 15-20°C for summer harvest. If sown under cover, transplant when the seedlings are large enough to handle and harden off before planting out 30cm apart. If sowing outside, sow in shallow drills, and thin out weaker seedlings.

Aftercare

Pinch out to encourage bushy growth. Grows will in pots or raised pots with well drained soil. Leaves can be dried to use later in the season.
