Tomato 'Chocolate Cherry'

A cordon cherry tomato which can be grown in a greenhouse or outdoors and will produce masses of dark red / purple fruit throughout Summer. The flavoursome cherry tomatoes will ripen gradually during Summer thus avoiding a glut.

Sowing & growing
Sow inside in well draining seed compost from Feb-Apr. Keep in propagator or a warm windowsill at 18-21°C to encourage germination. Once the seedlings are large enough, pot up into individual pots. Once all risk of frost has passed grow on outside or alternatively grow in greenhouse.
Aftercare
The plants will require staking and pinching out. Water daily and feed weekly once fruit is beginning to set. Tagetes, Mint or Basil are good companions plants to ward off aphids.
